1988 Raleigh Technium 400
Does anyone know what a 1988 Raleigh Technium 400 is worth? It has Shimano gear components and Dia-Compe Brakes. I am just curious because it seems to be a very high quality bike. Thanks.

Stem shifters, turkey levers, steel crankset, lower end Shimano components, nutted rear axle = low end bike. Because it has alloy rims, and the paint and frame appear to be in excellent condition, I would estimate its value at $150. Make sure seat post is not stuck (I don't trust them when the seat is that low).
What indications do you have to rate this a "very high quality bike"?
If you already have it and are going to sell it, I would remove the air pump that is zip tied to the top tube and either install it properly (under the bottle holder), or just leave it off the bike entirely. I would also remove the turkey levers and install gum brake lever hoods.

Well, it is a very nice looking bike! I would continue to enjoy it, as $150 would not buy you a worthy replacement for sure!

New in 1988!? Wow, I thought it would be more than that.
