Bike Rental Japan - Tokyo, Kyoto, Harkone area, Fukuoka?
Hello,
I searched for this topic but didn't find much on road bike rental info in Japan. Will be traveling there in May and would love to rent 2 road bikes for some day trips in either Tokyo, Kyoto, Harkone, or Fukuoka. I've seen that you can rent all sorts of bikes but I've found very little on performance road bike rental. Anyone know of anything? Any help appreciated.
Also, our itinerary isn't set in stone so if there is someplace you recommend elsewhere I'd be interested in that as well.
Looking for 54cm and 52cm, aluminum, carbon, whatever. Not picky.
Cheers!

I haven't found great rental bikes in Japan. It is the land of the Momma-cherries! But if you are looking for a Great ride try the Shiminami Kaido starting in Onomichi. I recently posted a report and photos in the 50+ forum. You can rent a half decent hybrid there at least. Not the most challenging, but lots to see and do.

I have a few Dahon, Tern and Pacific folding bikes available for rent. For more info you can google up Yokohama Rides and Rentals.
