If seppo is questionable I'm pretty sure All Blacks would be
banned. . . so yah politically incorrect.

Ah but see, they're not all black. Some of them are white bred cracker spawn.

And thus illustrates our (collective) expert use of irony. And black electrical tape.

you see, this just proves you don't understand the seppo mentality.
It doesn't matter what the team makeup is, nor the fact that it's a kiwi team
it will still be seen as potentially offensive to some one somewhere, facts don't matter
as long as the actions looks good to the collective masses. . .
black electrical tape is ok, but can get gummy when you use it to stick down
renegade bar tape.

since we are on the subject of bikes (remotely) if you recall I purchased
one of Eddie Salas' old track bikes (pogliaghi). I don't know if I posted
pics of it here, but I'm happy to flog it to anyone who cares to look.
I traded some email with Eddie and he says it looks just like it did when
he first got it.

you can see it here (before and after pics)
https://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/album199?page=1

pages 4 and 5 are after the repaint etc.
I'd post pics here but don't have correctly sized ones.

I liked the original paint job although it probably needed redoing.
Points off for not lining the crank arm up with the downtube

Looks sweet

then she'd love Wottanobbi!

The votes are in: Evans 3, Menchov 2, Landis 1, Hincapie 1

If you assume that nothings going to change after tonight until the TT you would think that Evans and Menchov are really going to have to bust a gut. Landis already has a minute on them and will take the best part of another minute of them in the TT. So they need to win tonight by at least 2:30-3:00 over Landis to be any chance of the overall GC at the end. It'll take something special to shake off Landis, especially to that extent.

Hincapie is gooorne, and Dessel will crumble as will Pereiro. Other contenders that might spring a surprise win include Simoni, Sastre, Kloden, Rogers, Moreau, Popovych and maybe even Leipheimer [cough] or Karpets. Sadly Rassmussen has put on 3 or 4 grams since last year and isn't the climbing powerhouse he could have been if he'd just left that red M&M alone. What a porker.

I'm still gunning for Menchov, although I'm starting to think Moreau might be in with a chance if he's tough enough mentally.

Oh, youse can mourn the loss of two more Aussies from their home soil. My girls arrived in California yesterday. We hope to have them safely delivered in a few days, after their grandparents take them to Las Vegas.

And we got another dog. He's only a Pomeranian, but he's named after a famous Aussie. Chopper.

ahahaha have fun explaining that name to the neighbours.

hey jock put me down for a menchov win. I dont think Cadel has it to win (although i want him to win). I dont want another yank to win especially if he is some crazy religo person. Rabobank lok strong too. But T-mobile could come back. I wonder is Kessler is gonna continue, hes won my hard man of the peloton award, I only saw the accident last night, damn it looked bad.

Also a question for ya. Would you buy a set of wheels of Maurice? I was able to decipher that he has a set of 2nd hand American Classics 420s for $450. (see a few pages back)

I think it will be some climbing pecker who is too far down on GC to matter but wants to make sure of his contract for next year. Top GC contenders will all finish just a minute or so behind the winner & all close together.

BTW Expat - a pomeranian does not classify as a dog.

I read the NOT in the original post, but selecting the field against George is a tad unfair. So I notted your not, not that it matters, and you got wot you got. I also put down existence's vote as being for Cadel, but only coz my mind was so messed up after reading his post.

I would buy a set of wheels of Maurice. I think Expat already mentioned it would help if you could check the bearings and cups, but it's pretty difficult to do that when they've been packed. Unless Maurice is willing to let you pull them apart in his workshop.

"Excuse Mr French Person, can I irritate you by revealing my arrogance and showing a complete lack of trust in your merchandise? Would you like a little contempt with that?"

a project for.........Dr. von Hagens! Mwuhuhuhuha!

I think tonight will be like Wil says. Some stick insect will win, followed by the "elite bunch" a few minutes back.....but hey, anything could happen, which is why I'll keep harping on - this is the best tour in seven years.

Feck off Lance. Go train for the Hour or the Giro or one of the other 500 races you've never won.
