What's a good but inexpensive SUV rack to hold an Electra cruiser?

Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Do you love the classic curves in the tubing of a cruiser that takes you back to the 1950's and 1960's, stylistically? Here's your home! Welcome to the Beach Cruisers and Cruisers forum!

I need a car rack that can hold my new electra townie and h's mountain bike. We have an suv (hyundai santa fe). I really don't want to spend more than $150 if possible. TIA!

Do you have a class 2 or 3 receiver hitch on your SUV?
If so, Walmart has a receiver mount carrier in your price range, or you can find them online.

Personally, I don't trust a strap on carrier. They always work loose.

as we found with ours, you're gonna need bike beam for it to work with most racks.

I been using a similar one of these for years with all my bikes. https://www.amazon.com/Swagman-Cross...8XNVEF1BZ9R0A2

Here's a pic with my heavy fat bikes.

I have a THULE and Saris reciver hitch rear racks that were bought art flea markets for $25. Replaced some of the rubber straps and repainted them Rustoleum Hammered Black and they look and work like new. Roger
