Cruiser for tall riders

Beach Cruisers Do you love balloon tires and fenders? Do you love riding the simplicity of a single gear and coaster brakes or a single gear cluster? Do you love the classic curves in the tubing of a cruiser that takes you back to the 1950's and 1960's, stylistically? Here's your home! Welcome to the Beach Cruisers and Cruisers forum!

Cool modifying

I found a 1" Chromoly steel seat post thru, SBS, (Seattle Bike Supply (wholesale importer)),
under their Red Line brand, ordered from my LBS.

they're strong enough to not bend, ( like a Wald seatpost would ), when extended like a foot out of the frame ...

Hi Guys , Im 62 240lb, Ive got my old 48 Tulane with Fat aflame tires ,but am looking for a Stretched Beach Cruiser Just something inexpensive to ride along my long driveway also have a recumbent , and stretched chopper we built .. Also the recumbent Id like to Trade, as now I live on a dirt road and the recumbent ( originally built by two hippies in a garage in California some 30 years ago ) Doesnt work on my road ...Recumbents are more open road speedsters , At 70 now I pedal 30 min. a day and a big stretched cruiser would be perfect ( on a road that well simulates a beach hahaha )
You guys have any ideas preferences or should I just make my own
I cant post pictures as yet .. (?) Working on that

you could try a few cruiser facebook groups for stretch cruiser ideas, or some of the regular internet forums. i make my own, but don't try selling them (at best i strip down the bike and give the frame away). a harbor freight flux welder and a supply of flea market/thrift store bikes and play with it 'til you make something you like (and have a junk pile of cut up bikes).
