Any of you convert a mountain bike into a cruiser?

Yes! just converted an old 87 Schwinn Sierra (the one with the beautiful green and yellow paint scheme) into a single speed masher for my kid going off to college. Turned out great. Wish I could post a picture but I'm a newbie and not allowed yet!

A lot of cool bikes on here. I have basically done the same thing, but might be a bit more radical on my Cogburn fat tire bike. At first I made an extension and just raised the bars up about 5 inches or so. But now I have just finished installing a set of apehangers on it, and I wanted the more crank forward position so I made a bracket and moved my seat back about 6 inches. I had it re-cabled at the bike shop and now it's much more comfortable. I am still playing with it a bit, adjusting the handlebars, and seat, and trying different seats that I have used in the past. I thought about even putting a banana seat on it, and I might yet, but maybe not.
However, I think in the future I would like to try a longer wheelbase cruiser bike, as I am setting a little farther back over the rear wheel then I would prefer, I think.

Since those pictures were taken, I have moved the seat slightly forward, and raised it a little more. And I rolled the shifter for the rear derailleur up on top of the handlebar, because my thumb is injured and weak, and I can't downshift with it. Now, I don't have to use my thumb and it's much better for me. I live in pretty rough hilly country, right on top of a mountain, and once I get out on the road, I am either coasting downhill or working my guts out trying to pedal up hill. So, I am considering modifying it into an E-bike.
I prefer the more crank forward position of a cruiser, so I made a bracket to move the seat back a ways. But I may have taken it too far. And may end up moving the seat forward a little bit more from here, but I definitely like the position better then the stock location.
