Introduction to myself and my bike. Need some help with it.

Hello

I'm new to the Bike Forums and wanted to introduce myself and my Huffy Cranbrook Model 56462 . The other day I got it out of the back of my shop and took off the cover and rolled it out and have been recently restoring it back to it's former shape and it's been going great. So what I have done is remove the rust from the chrome using some tinfoil and vinegar and shined up the original paint with some wax. I just recently replaced the old dry rotted tires with OEM Duro 26 x 2.125 Whitewall tires. I just need some help finding the OEM handlebar foam grips, pedals and kickstand end cap. I would prefer to have the parts from the OEM manufacturer and the same models that were originally on the bike. I tried Huffy Customer Service and they didn't help. A bike shop recommended me to use the forum to see if anybody or any Huffy enthusiast might know the part numbers for the parts I need.Thank you all and hope to hear from you guys soon.

Thank you
Eli Loutfi

Welcome to the forum, eloutfi. I'd be looking at eBay or A'zon for those items. You'll probably have to pick a generic handlebar foam, and get lucky with finding the pedals and kickstand cap.

As above; IMO, the best you can hope for is to locate something that appears similar. You could have the handlebar re-chromed unless you tossed it. Also, Amazon has a fairly extensive selection of parts.
