Advice for cruisers

How do you determine if a cruiser is an original or replica? I found a 1980 schwinn beach cruiser on Craig’s list for $300. Seems like a low price if it is a true 1980.

Seems like $225 too high for a 1980 cruiser in perfectly NOS condition in my area.
