Avoid crank forward flat foot technology. Every poster with one of those bikes posts later about having a hard time figuring out bar and seat position.

Other than that figure out your fit. What kind of brakes you want. What kind of gears you want. If you want a step through frame. Etc.

I never had any issue with a crank forward cruiser. I think they are quite comfy.

I recommend you go into some bike store and test ride some. I also suggest looking for cheap deals on craigslist...but not weathered beater.

I am getting a beach cruiser to ride during lunch hour at work. The bike rack is in our parking garage, so I can just keep it locked up there. When the days get short, lunch time is the only chance I have to ride during the work week.

Wat? While the "Flat Foot" is really a misnomer most people praise them for their comfort and ease. My Electras have been super easy to fit. Seat goes up and down, fore and aft a little, Stem goes up and down bars tilt a little but are mostly level.

To the OP. A lot depends on you. Big/Small riider? What's the terrain?... Do you need gears?... Do you want gears?
