Whats the most comfortable seat for a beach cruiser?
Im going to be building a beach cruiser soon and I want to start with the seat. Which seat have you found to be most comfortable? and it must be black.
Thanks.

The seat which came on my 2010 Schwinn Riverside cruiser was sufficiently comfortable and light-ish. You could look for take offs to start with.
I replaced it with a Selle Italia Epoch leather saddle which is a re issue from SI. They were designed for city, urban riding. It is very comfortable!
Lots of choices out there.

Why are you starting with the seat? Are you using the seat to set the style? If that is the case, Brooks tend to be good classic looking seats.
I had a Brooks B72 on my Schwinn Heavy Duti that I loved. I moved it and sold it with a Raleigh since that is where it came from. I don't think you can get a new B72 anymore. You can get a B66. The difference is that the B66 has springs. That is not a bad thing if you are looking for comfort.
There are plastic base seats that look comfortable, most notably the ones from Electra. They are about half the price and half the weight of a Brooks, but it is up to you and your butt to figure out which way to go. One good thing about the Electra seat is that you can go to a Trek dealer and give it a try. It would be difficult, unless you know of someone with a Brooks B66 to try it out.
By the way, I thought there were Electra seats that had a chrome steel bar that wrapped around the back of the seat to protect it. I am not seeing that in my searches. If I were to get a plastic pan with a vinyl cover seat for a Cruiser, that would be my preference.
BTW, the Schwinn branded ones don't look too bad either.

I have the worksman cycle extra wide comfort seat #6911V, bought it as an upgrade with my bike. It's huge and comfortable (13" wide), it's kind of like the Serfas CRS-1.

Gel > foam > leather
plus cheap or a good second hand suspension seat post
the springs on the seat are literally a form of suspension
for fk boys that would have pointed that out
but the suspension seat post adds to it purpose.
I have a $150 cane creek thudbuster that I got for $50. Rides like a Cadillac
