Huffy Cruiser... How old is it.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how old my Huffy Cruiser is that was just giving to me. It has 26" balloon tires with white walls. On the chain guard it says " Good Vibrations". There is a serial # on the bottom that says 93166HUFFY 26404. It also has foam grips that run the length of the handle bars.. I am thinking about restoring it. Normally I fix bikes up and give them away but my wife wants this one. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Well since no one seems to know how to decode the serial # from a Huffy bicycle. Here it is, straight from Huffy themselves.
26404 is the model number 93166 is the date code 9----6 = the year 1996 316 is the day of the year the bike was made Greg |
