gas shocks problem

Ok on my 210-FS (see sig for pic) yesterday I noticed that I was feeling ALL the bumps ... I stopped, and tried to push down on the front suspension and nothing happened. Would not budge. by the time I got home it was flexing a little again when I held on the brake and pushed forward on the bike. I tried to clean some grime out from around the rubber cap and then put a little bike lube on it and it's a little better now but not the same as they were. I don't think they are worn out ... is there a way to adjust or fix them**********?
