Ultegra 6800 RD with 6700 Shifters & Drivetrain?

Seems like Ultegra 6700 isn't widely sold anymore. My bike has an Ultegra 6700 drivetrain, and I suppose it's possible I'd change everything over to some future whatever drivetrain, but for the short-term-- I do like my components to match-- I was thinking maybe I should get some 6700 drivetrain components while the getting is easier. Either that, or start migrating gradually as stuff wears out. So, as the title suggests, it's no problem to use an RD-6800 with ST-6700 shifters, no? Likewise the front derailleur, FD-6800?

I know I can find 6700 stuff on eBay for years to come, but figured no harm in asking. I'd just like to know what is feasible.

The RD-6800 has a different cable pull ratio than RD-6700. That said, 11s and 10s components have different cable pull ratios and are generally incompatible.

Your ST-6700 shifters won't shift correctly with the RD-6800.
