Cracks on Carbon Fork

A 3 year old Fuji Roubaix has developed cracks all around the fork in an oval pattern. My question is: is this the gel coat or carbon cracked? The bike has never been wrecked.

Hard to tell, even with a photo.

Did you buy it at a shop? If so, you might want to take it in to them.

If not, try to find a Fuji dealer and see what they say. They might want to show it to their rep; if it is a structural failure Fuji will want to know about it.

I wouldn't ride it until you got some answers...

I've just taken it to the LBS and he seemed to think it was just the paint cracking. Some of the Fuji letters looks distorted- like paint cracking.

Looks to me like paint cracking too. Just to be sure though, I'll advise that you get a written confirmation from your Fuji dealer that it is indeed paint cracking and not the carbon.
