Can I use an Acera FD-M390 with a bottom pull cable arrangement?

The cable attachment point for the derailleur is below the mechanism. Do I wrap the the cable across the top of the links and thread it down to the guide at the bottom of the BB shell?

I dont see any obvious way to correctly route the cable.

According to the Shimano spec's, it's listed as "Dual Pull".

Yes, it's not easy to see but there are 4 small rectangular blocks that form a guide for the cable to wrap over.
