Do Spin Bikes use standard track cogs and lockrings?

Hi Guys:
This question is for any of you who may have worked on a Spin Bike with a chain drive system. Do they use standard track cogs and lockrings? The reason I ask is that we have an application in my lab where we would like to use commercial spin bikes but need to have a freewheel on the flywheel. If they do use standard track cogs it will be an easy switch to a metric freewheel.
Please tell we what specific brand and model you know about.
Thanks,
Jim

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

To my knowledge, a standard threaded-on sprocket with lockring is SOP for these. Best bet visit a spin class someplace and take a quick look to confirm. It just wouldn't make sense to re-engineer something so proven and readily available.

Google "spin bike manual".
Both of the manuals I looked at use a weird clutched cog mounted with 5 set screws - no threads.

Thanks guys. I was able to get hold of a schwinn spin bike. Looks like the thread might be standard for BMX freewheels.
Cheers,
Jim
