TIG vs MIG welding

Hello,
moved to frame builders

This question might be better answered if posted in the frame building forum. I have my opinions but since I braze my frames and not weld I am not the person to say much. Andy.

Having sold welding suppliers MIG is where you weld with a wire coming off a spool that is filler metal Mig is faster, cost less, takes less skill, and last just don't look as nice as TIG.

Both offer the same strength if welds are done properly. Honestly the thinner the tubing you weld the more you need a skilled person on the TIG Torch.
