Front Derailleur Adjustment

Hey guys, new used bike that I've put about ~100 mi on before this problem came up. Tried to shift into the big ring one day but it started grinding and the chain came off to the inside. I did the rest of the ride in the small ring but since then I've been unable to adjust the front derailleur to get it to shift into the big ring.

I really want to be able to perform my own maintenance, so far I've tried;
- adjusting limit screws
- adjusting cable tension
- repositioning the derailleur

Here's a video and some images of what's going on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You need to spin the crank AND move the derailleur for us to see whats happening. So far all I can see (pics are too dark!) is the derailleur may be too high and it doesnt move out far enough to put the chain on the big sprocket. How much slack is in the cable when its on the small one? It should be very little. After cable slack the limit screws are the next thing to adjust.

adjust the cable ,using the adjustment somewhere between the shifter and the derailleur .

Thanks guys, it was in fact the cable tension. I didn't let enough slack out the last time I adjusted it so it wasn't tight enough.

Please keep in mind that it is often best to take problems back to the place that sold the bike during the adjustment period - both to get proper adjustment and so they can detect other issues before they cause a problem.
