Shimano Digital adjustment system Hubs

Fellow mechanics.

I've recently acquired a Shimano RS81-C24 wheelset which has "•Digital adjustment system•Less Quick Release axial force"

In the past, as we all know, the OEM hub bearing adjustment was just a touch too tight when the QR cam was applied to be perfectly smooth.
This aided automated wheel building and we simply put the hub in a bench mounted axle vise and backed the bearing adjustment off just a tad w/ cone wrenches to be perfect when installed.

The question to current production mechanics w/ hands on experience on the current hubs ( and not to anyone lacking such): Is Shimano on-spec w/ the current generation of hubs for no drag QR applied?
My pre-6800 spec hubs will spin freely and rock back and forth balancing the valve until I get bored, not so w/ the new RS-81.

Looking at the PDF of the new gen I see a more complex seal arraignment which may need wearing in but: Since Big S never mentioned the necessity of bearing adjust previously am I back where I was as usual needing "just a touch" of axle play for perfect post QR smoothness?

BTW: Nice wheels.
