Buckled Rim

My rear wheel is a little buckled and i think it might be getting worse. How easy is it to true the rim? What do i need?

unless you already have a truing stand, an appropriate spoke wrench, sheldonbrown.com, and tons of patience, take it to a bike shop.

and yes, it IS getting worse.

if you have rim brakes you may be able to get a light out of trueless out by flipping the downside up and going with a spoke wrench. If you own one (they cost 5-7 dollars for a park so you might as well). In most instances - take it to the shop and pay the 15 bucks

"little" and "buckeled" are mutually exclusive terms. Take it to a shop and get it trued. The investment is not worth it for just truing a single wheel.

All you really need is a spoke wrench, which is pretty cheap. It's easy to true a small buckle out. Practice on an old wheel first, and read up about how to do it (Sheldon's site, and Park Tools). If, after some practice, you're not confident, then just take it to a shop.

ok, i'm already not confident, so i think i'll just take it to the shop.
Thanks
