Specialized Air Tool help

I need a new O-ring for my specialized air tool comp and cant seem to find one anywhere. I was wondering if anyone on here knew the size these pumps take? I think it is a 2009 or 2010 model. Also, what kind of lube do you use in the barrel?

invasionusa, Take the old O ring to an auto parts store, generally there is an assortment available. I use standard wheel bearing grease in my old pump.

This? Specialized Bicycle Components Yes, you can get 100 O-rings for the same price but this also includes a new plunger for the future and you no longer have to spend time looking for the correct part.

If your o-ring is only squared and not torn, wrap some plumber's Teflon tape into the o-ring groove (under the o-ring, important:D.) This will close the gap--it doesn't take much tape--and the pump will work again. Grease with silicone spray or bike grease. Both work. Silicone spray is cleaner.

My airtool&o-ring is from '99 and still going to 100#, although the top part of the cylinder has become a bit leaky.

And if no tape handy, a strip of thin denim into the groove would work I imagine.

Id rather not pay the $15 for S&H that they want to charge. Seems crazy to me.

Thank you all for your input.

Waxed dental floss and Teflon "pipe dope" tape will also work. Also check at your local hardware store, many of them have O-ring assortments which are quite comprehensive; my local True Value always surprises me with their stocked items. I use silicone oil or grease on my pumps, petroleum-based lubricants can attack or swell some O-ring material.

Order from your bike shop, no shipping costs.

Any auto parts or hardware store will have them; as bradtx said just take to old one in for them to match up...
