Problem with Specialized Romin Saddle

The saddle is loose on its rail assembly. When the saddle is on the bike, I can slide it fore and aft maybe a couple of millimeters. It makes a very audible clicking when it moves. The saddle is about three years old. I can't see any cracks anywhere and the rails don't seem to be bent. Not quite sure what has happened but I've got a new one on order. In the meantime I'll keep riding on it since I can't see anything broken.
