Converting 26" schrader rims to tubeless does the valve matter?

Hey I'm converting some 26" schrader rims to tubeless and I was planning on using either a Stan's or Orange Seal kit. I thought that I would have to use an adapter like when you put standard presta valves into schrader rims but I can't imagine it would seal up correctly. Do I need to get a schrader-specific kit like the Stan's? Thanks in advance!

Stans is a brand, not a guy.

For the question, it doesn't matter, as your going to be dumping the current innertube, and getting a rimstrip, which will be Presta, or if your going ghetto, getting a Presta tube with removable core.

Schrader valves generally aren't used for tubeless, with DH and Freeride being the exceptions, and these will also have to have removable cores, like Presta tubes .

Ok thanks. I didn't think about the rim strip sealing up the difference.
