Where is the glossary

Where is the glossary of terms, acronyms and abbreviations used at this forum located???? RD, FD, LBS, DO, and etc etc????

I can help with some, FD = front derailleur, RD = rear derailleur. Those are used because no one can spell them correctly. Don't get me started on pedal, petal or break, brake. LBS= local bike shop. Maybe there needs to be a sticky?

It's in Page One of the "Sticky" at the top of this forum's main page, entitled "New Posters: Please Read This First."

More acronyms, please. Like it took me awhile to realize that DO = drop out. 8S

somewhere we went over this before, but it was not made into a stickie at the top .

When mystified, do a Google search for "Bike Forums [unknown acronym or word]". It will bring up a rash of references. Some will just have the acronym, but usually there will be others that also show the unabbreviated term.

Seeing the acronym in a different quotation also gives you a better shot at figuring out the meaning through context. Example: if you saw "Put the axle in the DO's and tighten the QR skewer," you'd probably understand both abbreviations.

Search engines haven't failed me yet. Google just happens to be my favorite.
