My first post here. Have we any ideas what this tool is used for? If it really is a cycle tool. Thanks.

It appears that Part A threads into Part B. Other than that, it's a mystery to me. How do you know it's a bike tool?

Some people just have to have tools, I guess - even if they don't know what they are.

It appears to be a fixed cup removal tool.

Seems like as good a guess as any. I was wondering about the thin wrench flats near the ends of both pieces. With nothing to use for scale, I think they are only wide enough for a cone wrench.

Im thinking a bearing press but it has to press against something external, an arbor frame, that you don't have..
Not like anything i've seen or needed in 40 years ..

Sorry, I should have mentioned that a shop in my are closed and when I bought some of the toolsand the owner through in some specialty tools. I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
