I don't use that one, but I sometimes use the framebuilders group. Click the red box at the top to start a "new topic" or, on an existing post, click the red box for "post reply". The reply thing can be weird because there are options for replying to the OP only or replying publicly in the group and its not really clear which one is which.
Also, some groups/forums have a moderator approve posts from new members. This can delay your post appearing in the group for several hours or until the moderator checks the messages.
