Exage HB-RM50 front hub
Hello all,
I am fixing up a Trek 850 Antelope. It has an Exage HB-RM50 front hub. The cones are shot. I found on this store: Shimano Hub Cones and Axles Front - Buy Online - MoruyaBicycles.com.au That the cones I need are Shimano part number Y23104000. That store is in Australia. It looks like I could potentially get replacements from this place too: Wheels Mfg Hub Cones Any other suggestions? Also: each side had 11 3/16" balls in it, making a total of 22 balls. Is it supposed to be like that? Did someone rebuild it at some point and add two extra balls, or did some come like that? Thanks! |
This states 10 balls/side.

You might look at- Husky Bicycles Bicycle Hub Axle Shimano RM50 Front 140mm Bolt-On I've had good service from them, but can't really attest to quality, since they are in my spare parts bin or gone on CL flippers. |
I found a NOS pair on ebay. That's probably my best bet, isn't it?
