Does this HG90 look unsed
Vintage CS HG90 7 Speed 12 28 Cassette | eBay
I really want an HG90 even though I know it costs a bit more.
This appears to have not wear other than what the posted mentions.
Anybody have a difference of opinion based upon what they see

Looks to me to be just as the seller describes. Can't spot any type of wear marks that you might see even from only 50 or so miles of use but no guarantee as photos can be deceiving. I'd still buy it.

It looks dirty, for one. The red sticker bears the pattern of a filthy chain rubbing up against it. Some teeth show some flashing from being forged by a chain. For those reasons, if no other, the description, "A new, unused item with absolutely no signs of wear", is misleading.
Given that I think it has been used, only experimentation can tell how it would mesh with a new chain. I would never consider buying this thing for $100.

Oh lord, I didn't even notice the price. That would be a "no" then for me. Have you considered some of the other Shimano 7sp models? https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_6v01hspr3l_b

You don't need 5 threads about buying a cassette. Just buy 1 and ride your bike
Expensive and/or used cassettes are a waste of money. They are all the same once installed and being used.

How do you know that this cassette is really an HG90? Because the Seller says thats what it said on the box it came out of?
If you believe the Seller, and his/her story that this is probably a new take-off from a bike that was sold, then how could you explain it being in the same box it came in from the Factory? Short story, it can't.
I believe that the cassette could be a low mileage part removed from a bike being sold, and the box could have come from the cassette that was put on the bike at the time of sale. That being said, I don't think that cassette is an HG90. It's probably an HG70, like the ones in my spare parts boxes in the garage. Back when 7-speed cassettes were the "new" thing, I traded out the cassettes on 3-4 bikes they I bought new, because they didn't work for me, and HG70s only cost about $25.
HG70s, came with a red label, just like the cassette in the photo you supplied.
$99 for a slightly used HG70 7-speed cassette is ridiculous.

The lockring looks like an HG90 lockring. The HG70 lockrings with a black label (or inlay) have all their markings on the label, the HG90 lockrings are marked on both the ring and the label.

There is some obvious wear on the largest cogs, at around 7 o'clock. Definitely not "new".
