Synapse 7/8 bb shell question

Does anyone know if the current models of Cannondale Synapse 7/sora and 8/claris have normal BSA bottom bracket shells, or are they bb30 with some kind of adapter?

Thank you!!

AFAIK there is no adapter that allows the use of a square taper cartridge bottom bracket in a BB30 shell, so they must be BSA.

Do bb30-bsa adapter sleeves like the FSA one only work with outboard bearing BBs then?

For the record I want a real BSA shell, not some kind of dodgy adapter nonsense.

You know, that's a good question. I hadn't considered that they might use on of those metal shell inserts. I can think of no reason why it wouldn't work with a square taper bottom bracket. Taking a look at the Cannondale website it's not obvious:

But it doesn't look big enough to be a BB30 BB shell to me. Only way to be sure would be to go look at one I guess.
