slight grinding sorta feel in pedals
Lately I have been feeling a sort of grinding in my pedals. Its not a constant grinding its more like a clicking feel but theres no clicking noise. Ive cleaned my chain and cogs and derailleurs and lubed everything but it still does it. Im prety sure its not the chain hitting something. The bike is only 5 months old so I dont how something could be worn out that quick.
Any ideas what it might be before I bring it into the shop?

if it doesn't make the feel when coasting, I'd say you should look into the bottom bracket where the crank goes through at the bottom of the frame. I guess you could slip your chain off or something and just hold yourself up and pedal the bicycle in place. If it still makes the grinding, then I'd guess its in your pedal bearings or the bottom bracket bearing.
If the bike was really old like the 1978 Raleigh I worked on tonight (greasing the bottom bracket ), then I'd say you should do the same, but more than likely it is a cartrige type bearing, which can't be greased/maintained.
Others might be able to give you more specifics.
