Quarq / SRAM and BSA compatibility
Looking at Quarqs and not sure how compatible they are with non-SRAM bottom brackets.
Will be installing this in a Shimano 24mm BSA, and from the Quarq website it looks like the version I would need also fits SRAM GXP. But from what I've read it seems like SRAM uses an asymmetrical design with a smaller spindle on the ND side.
So what would be required to make a Quarq designed for the GXP design fit a Shimano BB6700 with symmetrical spindles? Not crazy about using adapters and spacers to make something fit that is optimized for another design. And if it's not terribly apparent, I'm not up to speed on all the variations in bottom bracket designs........
TIA...JK

You need to replace your current BB with a Sram GXP bottom bracket. It's inexpensive and good quality.

That is so obvious in hindsight I can't believe I asked the question. Thanks for the link.
