Shimano LX WH-M565-R 9-Speed & LX FH-M565

I was wondering about part compatibility. I see that Shimano used the M565 for a rear wheel with spoke nipples on the hub and the M565 for a regular LX hub. Although the two hubs are completely different, I was wondering if they use the same axle and cones.

Parts for the regular FH-565 hub appear to be scarce unless you go aftermarket. I see a complete axle for the WH-M565-R wheel. Does the fact that they both use M565 give a hint that the axle and cones are compatible?

Regards

I would not assume anything was compatible between them. The complete wheelset came decades after the LX hubs. They are recycling the model name and that's all.

Thanks

I knew I was making a big assumption, so I decided to ask the question.
