Headset question

Hey,

Warning: dumb question.

I need to get a new headset (Tange Levin CDS 1" threaded). I also need a crown race for my fork. Will the headset come with the accompanying crown race? Or do I need to track down a Tange crown race?

Comes with crown race. Make sure it's the right diameter.

Well, hell. That's going to make my life easier. Trying to find a 26.4 Levin CDS race on it's own was getting difficult.

Yeah, the crown race is the only part of a headset that measures 26.4, so if it says 26.4 it has to include a crown race.

It shouldn't be too hard:

Tange-Seiki CDS Crown Race 26.4mm without Seal

The crown race is usually the first thing to wear out on a headset, so it makes sense to supply them separately.

Those Levin CDS headsets are my go to unit for short stack applications. Can't beat the quality for the price.
