Chainstain/Seatstay pivot bolt on Norco Shore...found replacement bolt but smaller OD

Hey guys, I stripped my 09 Norco Shore 2 so that I can clean, grease and install my new parts.

While I was working on the rear chainstay and seatstay pivot, I accidentally stripped the 4 or 5mm allen bolt.

Here is the original bolt.

I went to a local Norco authorized dealer, thinking this bolt is a few bucks. Turns out it costs $30.00!

I went to a few local fastener stores and we found a 4mm allen bolt that works but the head outside diameter is slightly smaller.

Here is a photo of me measuring the original allen bolt @ 12.00 mm vs the replacement I found @ 9.83 mm

Seeing that the head is slightly smaller, do you guys think I should be fine running this bolt?

I'd really hate to buy a single bolt from Norco for $30.00 bucks...but I will if I need to.
