Can I install a Campagnolo 11 speed cassette on a 1990's Campagnolo Chorus hub? The 1990's Campagnolo Chorus hub now has a 9 speed cassette and I can check if a 10 Campagnolo cassette will fit.

The campy freehub was changed when they moved from 8sp to 9sp, and since the change the freehubs have been compatible with 9, 10, and 11sp cassettes. So you should have no problem if you have a 9sp cassette on there now.

Just make sure you have the correct lockring for your smallest cog....IIRC 11 tooth cogs use a different lockring than 12 and 13 tooth outer/smallest cogs.

Campy did have an early version of 9 speed freehub bodies that are not compatible with 10 speed cassettes. Make sure you don't have the early version. Here is a link to photos of all Campy freehub bodies. You can see the differences.

Thanks,

The hub I have matches the 9, 10 & 11 speed freehub shown in the Branford table.
