KKT rt-e pedal overhaul

Hey does anyone know of a way to disassemble these or are they impossible to take apart.

Most pedals can be taken apart. What kind of pedal is it? Post a pic of it.

Pretty sure the dust cap doesn't come off aka they are fubar

Agree. These appear to be "no user-serviceable parts inside" pedals. Even if you manage to pry the cap off, you'll likely find that the bearing cone is permanently swaged to the spindle.

Therefore it's worth a try...because either way they're lost if not.

Many pedals can be lubed with a greasegun w/ injector tip by drilling a small hole in the dust cap as a port. Pump in grease till only clean comes out at the inboard end. Bring a wipe with you on your initial rides as the grease will continue to be churned out with pedaling. Andy.
