Bent Front Derailleur
 

Was in a crash with my bike and my Di2 Ultegra 6870 Front Derailleur seems to be bent. Have tried to position the front derailleur, but it wont turn more left. Can I bend the front derailleur back with a plier? Or is there somthing wrong with the chainline?

It's hard to see if your der is a "braze on" or a clamp around attachment. But the braze on version has a tiny set screw that contacts the seat tube just below and behind the mounting tab. This screw is to prevent the der from twisting on the tab during the shifting (as a braze on mounting is a less secure method compared to the clamp around). This screw will also hinder your attempts to reposition the der unless it's loosened first. Shimano has instructions on it's website. Andy.

It is a braze-on front derailleur. First I tried to turn the support bolt, but the front derailleur wont turn more left (clockwise). The front derailleur will only turn counter-clockwise. When I have the bike in the lowest gear, the chain is rubbing against the front derailleur. The low-screw wont turn more outwards than I have it now.

I think my only solution right now is to try to bend the front derailleur or moving the crankset more to the right? :)

Crash bent? replace it. I suspect Di2 is not tolerant of Manhandling it..

I'd not buy stuff I cannot fix (personally) But so much of the traffic I read Here is doing the Opposite.

Long ago I learned the hard way that when ever you take a spill a close inspection is an absolute rule. Anything bent needs to be taken apart. Especially with newer light weight bikes (Post 1970s).

After you take your dérailleur off you might find not only a bent hanger but also a tear or crack in your seat tube or something else predicting a future failure.

Buddy of mine after a light spill found a cracked bottom bracket on his beautiful ALAN. I think that day we all cried (long walk too)...

Anyway... what I'm saying is take it apart and look close, check it all....
