As I have hinted I'm building up a Nishiki Altron from my B.O.C. I would like to use bullhorns for the bars I have a nice set of Dia-Comep levers that came off my Centurion . I don't think they will work the cable comes out the top and turns toward the stem . I need it to come out the bottom and back . Like this https://www.google.com/search?q=cann...fFZ6lF6vAyM%3A
Am I missing something or is there another aero type lever I need ? Thank you as always .

As you can see, inventive cyclists can make all sorts of 'incompatible' hardware work together for a unique result, but most cyclists when running bullhorns use what are called "time trial levers".

I've tried that - with some dedication.
Even made some custom bar end plugs with pulleys in to use together with kevlar "wires".
Always ended up in the "doable, but not worth it" category.
Ignoring the cabling issues, there's still lever travel to deal with.
Drop bar levers really are designed to sit at the outside of a rather tight curve, tighter than the bend at the end of a bullhorn. Expect issues with levers bottoming out against the bars before getting full stopping power.
Using a flip&chop bar or TT levers works better.

But, yes for Bull Horns , use a Reverse Lever made for the purpose.

Thanks for the suggestions guys . I might have to go the Tektro 4.1 or Cane Creek rout , but first i'm going to see if I can get the Dia-Compes to work . If I can that will be really cool as I'm trying to keep it as vintage as possible . Actually my first thought was to use Tektro levers (after I didn't think the Dia-Compes would work) but I found out a interesting thing the smallest hole that those types will fit is 19mm my bars are 18mm . So I might have to get different bars and levers , the B.O.C. will runneth over .

These will fit down to 16.5 ID - or so it says.

I have owned ^that lever^ for over 25 years, so It is Vintage, even though they still make them..

Thanks for the heads up on the Velo Orange . The more I mess around with the Dia-Compe the more I'm thinking it won't work the cable would have to make a sharp 90* . But I'm still looking , I'm really starting to think new bars and Tektro's .
