Identify these fork mounts

I've had this fork around for awhile. It has these weird brake mounts. Could anyone tell me what they're called and how they work? I'd like to be able to adapt them to regular v brakes, if possible. Thanks.

Are you sure those are brake mounts? They are not V-brake/canti mounts.

Trials bike with those mounts - someone explain what their function is, please!

Magura HS33 mounts. As in hydraulic rim brakes. My Monty trials bike has them. Andy

Thanks for the help. For future reference, I discovered they're also called Magura 4 Bolt mounts. There's adapters one can buy to convert them to V-brakes. If I do convert to v-brakes, I'll try to remember to post a picture here.
