Nashbar front rack with 'braze on' mounts

This may be a dumb question, but has anyone successfully mounted a Nashbar lowrider front rack on a bike with mid-fork screw holes, instead of using the included clamps?
Thanks!

No I haven't, but mounting a rack is what the holes are there for.
