I have to crop the pics to get them upload. For scale you can barely make out an X0 grip shifter in the background, a pegboard silver hanging thing, in the foreground there is a little shift/brake cable "donut" that is light blue.

I can try to make sure the other pics have something to locate the pics into context.

If that helps with scslexand context. Wonder why the swap guy had two. Go figure. Now I guess I need an old ELDI German cast truing stand to restore.

Okay I think I know "what" this Suntour tool is. I think it's a hub tool of some kind.

Interestingly it got and is marked 30 for what I believe is a 30mm headset tool, and 17 for what I believe is a 17mm cone wrench.

Beyond that I think there is a 28mm 26mm step there.

What is the "why" ofvghis proprietary tool. Can someone list a Suntour hub or headset showing where and how you use this.

Thanks!

That's a SunTour XC nountain bike/BMX hub tool, for removing the dustcaps that cover the bearing cartridges. The 17mm end sets the pre-load on the bearings:

Same as on XC Pro hubs? I should have an old set lying around. Why I bought them I have no idea.

If I can find them I'll post pics.
