mtb forks - allon keys at the bottom of the forks

Hi,

i seen some allon screws at the bottom of my forks and would like to know what they do, i was to open them up would they adjust my suspension

What kind of fork?

You'd probably be better served asking this question on the mountain bike board. Most likely those bolts are what holds the lower legs on but some suspension forks have dampening adjustments in that location.

unless you know what you are doing (or don't mind trashing fork) I would leave them well alone- sometimes these bolts can be very difficult to fasten up again. In some cases you need a special tool. Unless you can get hold of the maintenance instructions or a schematic of the fork then don't mess with them.

Those are usually for oil. Undo it and tap lightly, oil comes out for replacements. Its where it all comes apart.
