One sided cottered pin bike?? HELP

Hey so I'm doing a restoration on an old 70s(maybe) stingray type 20" kids bike. It's called a fleeting tigercat, and despite this being my first restoration on anything, it's not going too bad. The one thing I cannot figure out is the cottered pin crank. I've seen these before on old bikes, but on all the ones I've seen its always been on both sides of the crank and once you get the pins out on each side there's a locking to remove. On this bike there's only a pin on the side without the crank. On the other pedal, there's nothing and once you get the pin off on the other side it's just a nut that will not budge for its life. This is basically the last part to take off on the bike and I have been doing research but haven't ever even seen another bike with a pin on only one side. PLEASE help. Thanks

Can you post (or link to) pics?

The pics I can find online of Fleetwing Tiger Cat bicycles (made by Murray) all seem to show one-piece Ashtabula-style cranksets.

The ones like that I have seen, that nut has a left hand thread. Try turning it the other way

I saw these occasionally on cheap kids bikes made in Europe. It's a little like a cottered crank, a little like a one-piece crank. As Phil says, the nut under the left crank arm is probably left-hand threaded.

Yea I tried turning it the other way and it still wouldn't budge so either I'll have to heat it up with the blow torch to try to get the nut moving or I'll just work around it. Thanks

Ok so bike forums is telling me I can't post urls, and I can't figure out how to post my own pictures so see if this works

m.ebay.com/itm/253030083564

If you can get to that eBay ad, that is the exact bike I have and in pictures 5 and 7 it shows the first side with the pin and the second side without anything. I see what your saying about it being like a one piece crank, but it also has the pin which means it cant be a one piece. And the nut after you remove the pedal with the cottered pin is impossible to remove, so I have no idea anymore. Any suggestions? Have you ever even seen a crank like this? Thanks.

Sounds like a Thun bottom bracket. Remove right side cotter and crankarm and the assembly should come out the left side. You might need to split the nut and drive the cotter out.

YES thank you that's what type it is. I looked a video on how to remove them and basically it just says I have to force that nut out and then the rest of the crank should come out as well. Thank you tho I had never even heard of one of those
