Specialized AIR TOOL SPORT FLOOR PUMP question

I got a AIR TOOL SPORT FLOOR PUMP by Specialized a few days ago and I cannot figure out how to convert it to presta. How do you do it?
It did not come with instructions.

Look at the chuck that connects your pump to the valve stem. Most pumps convert like this:

1. Unscrew the end of the chuck.
2. There are two parts inside. You might have to work at it a little bit to get them both out. One is a neoprene gasket, the other is a hard plastic thingie.
3. Turn both parts upside down (individually) and put them back in the place where they were.
4. Screw the end of the chuck back on to hold everything together again.

We sell a lot of those at my shop and one of the main selling points is the "smart head". Unless you have an older version there should not be any converting. You just press it onto the valve, flip up the lever and pump.

Yeah, what he said.

The airtools have a smarthead, no need to convert to presta. I have the airtool pro and LOVE it.

So what you are saying is that the pump is smarter than the would be user! :D

Is that the same as the Topeak Smarthead? I've got a couple of those. They were fine when they were brand new new, but they've deteriorated to the point where they won't work on Schrader valves any more. I've got an old Specialized pump that I reserve for Schrader valve use only and use my Smart Heads just for presta.

i have used my airtool Pro almost every other day for more than a year and it has been problem free. I love it because of its' stability and because it's a little difficult for 115 lb. of me to pump up a tire to 120 lb. without putting all of my body into it.
