Mixing Shimano & SRAM

Wanted to find out if anyone has run Sram red Mid-compact cranks with eTap shifting and a shimano dura ace cassette (11-28) and a shimano dura ace chain? Ive been told it works and is a lot quieter. Just looking to find out if it ACTUALLY works and IS quieter. Thanks.

SRAM aqnd Shimano cassettes and chains interchange fine... since the shifters and derailleurs are both SRAM, they will be fine too.

as to "quieter"... well.... Dura Ace stuff is plenty quiet.... can't say that about most SRAM stuff.... i avoid SRAM, mostly.... "You have entered...... the SRAM ZONE... Zone... zone... zone..." not a big fan of SRAM.... maybe it's gotten better by now....
