What wrench for FSA BB386 carbon crank extractor?

(copying over from the Fifty Plus 46/30T crank discussion)

I am installing a 48/32T FSA SL-K modular crankset on to my Ritchey Brekaway, and trying to figure out what the heck is the wrench you use in the self-extractor? I am used to using a 8mm hex wrench on the 24mm allow MegaExo cranks. The videos I have seen say to use a 10mm hex, but they are always demoing on an alloy crank. The set I received has a 12-point head stamped M18 (parts list says it is QR-19 - something like this . I have found zero documentation about what bit to use. Looks like a 10mm hex wrench fits, but want to make sure that is what it actually is before i start torquing it down

Based on the following video a 10mm hex appears to be the correct tool:

Thanks. Just wanted to double-check before I try to torque it up ("measure twice, cut once"). Don't understand why they would do a 12-point head for hex head screw - maybe it is just some crazy way of saving weight, or maybe to keep from over-torquing the carbon crank

If not using a ratchet with the 10mm bit it does give you more options to orient the wrench handle for best control, just like 12 point sockets and box end wrenches. Just a guess, though. Weight is another good guess.
