Compatibility Between 5700 STIs and 4700 Crankset

I'm looking to replace my old crankset with a Shimano Tiagra 4700 compact crankset, but I am not quite sure if it will work correctly with my 105 5700 10spd shifters. Any help is much appreciated!

With respect to the shifters, it should be fine. You may need to re-position the FD if you are going from a standard size double to the compact. Chain length as well.
