Which pedal model is that?
1 Attachment(s)
Hello!
I've found those pedals recently and I'm really interested in using them as they have one side as a normal pedal and the other side as a clipless pedal However, they don't seem to look like SPD models but I can't find the brand/model of these and I'd like to acquire the cleats for my shoes Any one knows which models they are? Thank you |
Looks like a copy of the Shimano PD-M323/PD-M324, a few brands have similar pedals, Wellgo, Exustar, VP Components, B'Twin, Ryder, etc.
Shimano MTB cleats should fit them. |
Welgo has their own cleat, not same as shimano but close..
often re-badged pedals that come thru performance/nashbar are from those other companies. .... |

Shimano MTB cleats should fit them. Unless they're "close" enough to work ? Also, what do you mean by MTB cleats, would the SPD work ? |

Correct me if I'm wrong but the M323, M324 seem a bit different in shape.

Looks like Richie to me- similar to SPD but not interchangeable.
https://ritcheylogic.com/v4-mountain...lacement-cleat But if cleats are ~$20 and pedals with cleats are ~$40, it's a better idea to just get new pedals. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014UG3WE...ing=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-PD-M3...530+SPD+Pedals |

For sure, but money not pouring from the sky yet in my neighborhood, I'm trying to get used parts (hence, my rusted pedals that were previously used)
I hear you, but if the cleats don't fit, the pedals don't release well, or fall apart in a year, it could be 'cleat wise but pedal foolish'. How about these? Nashbar Double Track Pedals - Nashbar |

Since I don't know, I'd say someone took a grinder and removed the clipless part.

If those were Shimano pedals, there would be logos printed on and cast in to the pedal chassis. Some of the 'house brand' pedals will use shimano cleats, some don't. The cleats look very similar, and some will work with other brand, some don't. If you don't know which pedal you have, you have to take a guess, and try it out to know whether you got the right one. However, for only $9 more than you paid for the beat-up no-name pedals, (with no cleats) You could have had a brand new set of Nashbar pedals, with the correct cleats to match. |
