Replacement races for ti axle

I have a Zeus TI BB axle that has pressed-on steel races which have pits.

It's a long shot, but are replacement races available?

I highly doubt you'll find the races independent of the spindle. even finding a replacement spindle might prove hard.

Perhaps moving this to the C&V forum would get better response. Andy

No, these:

Though I have been tempted to remove them and measure and some suitable cups in case a cartridge bearing could be arranged to fit...

For the effort being contemplated I might suggest a Phil BB. At one time Ti axles versions were available, it would be quite the KOF with Phil having been around when this bike was new, have been offered in varying spindle lengths/tapers and with any of the popular BB shell thread standards.

Converting the Zeus spindle to a cartridge bearing might be possible. This has been a topic with the classic-rendezvous-lightweight-vinta...oglegroups.com group a few times over the years. What I forget is whether those guys who know this stuff better then I do came to the conclusion that a bearing is available with the ID that works for the spindle and an OD that a different set of BB cups have. Good luck. Andy

Pass, thanks. I'm looking for a part to use, not to put in a wall-hanger bike (I have one of those already).
