Welding Classes NYC ??
 

Anyone know of any good schools or workshops where I can learn how to weld. I did a cursory google search that didn't yield any good results. I'll try again, but I thought I'd post here and see if anyone knew of anything offhand.

Try local communtiy colleges / technical colleges.

Any decent community college will have a welding program. Explain to the teacher why you're interested,(I assume it has to do with frame building,) and he's liable to let you spend more time on the pertinent types of welding, TIG and/or oxy/acetylene. Also, speaking as a welder, welding is %100 RAD, and all the scars on my arms will testify to that!
